I love outback steakhouse ... of course the steaks are awesome but they also have spectacular salads. What makes it for me is their ranch dressing. I've started playing with some recipes I've found online, tweaked them and here's what I've come up with. I make a batch of this several times per week. It's great on a salad or to dip raw veggies in. Here's my version of the outback ranch dressing.
Type of Recipe: Appetizer
Yield: 10
Preperation Time: 00:05
Cook Time: 00:30
Total Time: 0:35
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Hidden Valley Ranch buttermilk Dressing mix
- 1 cup of Hellman's mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 tsp fresh-ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions:
scoop the mayonnaise into a small bowl. Whisk in the remaining ingredients. Make sure everything is very well combined. Cover the bowl and set it in the fridge for at least 45 minutes to allow all the flavors to blend together. I usually make this early in the morning or even the night before. You can store leftovers covered in the fridge for a few days. I use a mason jar.Enjoy!
